Boss James Jokes About Trading His Bike for Massage Chair as ZERO Healthcare Unveils New Ranger Series

Entrepreneur and content creator Boss James made quite an entrance at MyTOWN Shopping Centre when he rode into ZERO Healthcare’s latest product launch on a motorcycle, before joking that he might be ready to trade his bike for a massage chair.

ZERO Healthcare officially launched its new Ranger 9 Series on 9 September, while also announcing Boss James as the Brand Ambassador for its Ranger Series.

Dressed in full biker gear, Boss James arrived at the event on his bike before swapping the saddle for the new Ranger massage chair. After trying it out, he joked about possibly trading in his motorcycle for the Ranger instead.

The light-hearted moment reflected the message behind the new series, even people who are constantly on the move need time to slow down, recharge and recover.

“My life is always go, go, go. So maybe ZERO chose me because they think I need to sit down more!” Boss James joked.

He added that while many people are good at working hard, they are often not as good at giving themselves enough time to rest.

Celebrating Malaysia’s ‘Everyday Heroes’

According to ZERO Healthcare, the Ranger Series was developed around the idea that quality rest and recovery should be accessible to more Malaysians.

Its campaign highlights what the brand calls Malaysia’s “everyday heroes”, including business owners, working parents, riders, drivers and workers who spend much of their lives working and providing for their families.

ZERO Healthcare founder Tommy Tham said Boss James was selected not only because of his social media presence, but also because his entrepreneurial journey represents the values of resilience and hard work behind the Ranger Series.

“When people hear ‘Boss James’, they see success. But behind that success are years of hard work, long days and perseverance,” he said.

ZERO Healthcare Teams Up With TikTok Shop

The launch also featured a collaboration with TikTok Shop, with a dedicated experiential booth at MyTOWN allowing visitors to try out the Ranger Series.

Boss James also brought the launch to a wider audience through livestreams and social media content.

Nur Azre Binti Abdul Aziz, Senior Director of Strategic Partnerships at TikTok Shop Malaysia, said the collaboration demonstrated how content, community and commerce can come together, allowing consumers to discover products through demonstrations and recommendations from creators.

Long-Term Support for Malaysian Para-Athletes

Beyond the product launch, ZERO Healthcare also formalised its support for Malaysia’s para-athlete community by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Paralympic Council Malaysia.

According to the company, the partnership builds on its existing support for para-athletes and aims to contribute to their recovery, wellness and preparation as they represent Malaysia internationally.

A representative of the Paralympic Council Malaysia described ZERO Healthcare as a long-time supporter whose financial, recovery and wellness contributions have made a meaningful difference to athletes.

ZERO Healthcare will also hold its TikTok Shop Brand Day from 11 to 13 September 2026, featuring the Ranger 7, Ranger 8 and Ranger 9 massage chairs, with promotional packages and complimentary gifts.

While Boss James may not actually be giving up his motorcycle anytime soon, his playful arrival delivered a simple message behind the Ranger campaign: working hard matters, but knowing when to rest does too.
