Recently India has banned over 59 apps from China. This includes TikTok and Wechat in order to control the country’s safety.
There are about 120 millions of Tik Tok users in India. This made the country is one of the largest platforms for Tik Tok, it happens to be some Indians become an influencer through the app.
India now developed their own app cause of the banned and claims this new app can compete with Tik Tok. This app called Tik Tik – Made in India has been downloaded over 100,000 times around the world.
This Tik Tik app was created by a college student in Kottayam, Kerana in India.
According to the creator, the name ‘Tik Tik’ is used because it’s easy to remember and claimed that his app is way better than TikTok. His claims are such as, letting user record video longer than usual and there’s a chat section for users.
