The officials of New York City has stated that no COVID-19 death was reported on Sunday. It is the first time that the state having no new death cases since the first COVID-19 death reported on March 11.
As said by the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, there are no people that were died because of the virus on July 11.
Back in April, New York City has reported the highest number of death at 799 and until now, the total death in the city was around 23,000.
So far, it is reported that more than 427,000 people in New York have tested positive of the virus. The virus also has killed more than 32,000 people across the state.
Until now, the United States has reported more than 136,000 COVID-19 death.
