Driving needs the skill to develop as there is a lot of car accidents that happened because of careless drivers. Careless driving might cause a serious incident.
The parents of William Sheriff, an 18-year-old man decided to buy a BMW sports to him after he passed the driving test. While he was taking his friends for a test drive, he accidentally crashed the car as it approaching a bend in Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire on August 6, last year.
He had caused the death of one of his friends who was the front passenger in the car. Luca Skivington, a talented footballer had a traumatic head injury after Sheriff failed to slow down. The car was then sent flying through the air before it hit an electrical substation.
Another passenger, Ollie Masters also developed PTSD because of the car incident.
Sheriff and his three other friends were getting out for a test drive slipped the car into sports mode and drove down the country lane. They were admiring the powerful BMW before the speed up and got into crashed, a judge was told.
After the court heard, Sheriff was given a six months prison sentence for causing the death of his friend. He was also suspended for two years for his careless driving. He was also ordered to take an extended test.
Francis Sheridan, the judge that handling this case criticized Sheriff’s parents for giving the new driver a BMW. He criticized the parents for letting Sheriff drive just after three days he passed the test.
