Finally, Whatsapp is announcing that its app on Android and IOS will be getting a dark mode feature. The updates will soon come to both platforms within a few days.
According to GSM Arena, the Whatsapp dark mode was designed for reducing eye strain when people in a low light environment. It also believed that it also to prevent awkward moment when it lights up the room.

The dark mode will fully function for all Android 10 and IOS 13 users while Android 9 previous versions of the OS users, you can manually enable dark mode WhatsApp from its settings below:
IOS:
- Go to Setting App
- Choose Display & Brightness
- Choose Dark
Android:
- Go to Whatsapp
- Go to Setting
- Choose Chat
- Choose Theme
- Choose Dark
