A mother and her two years old son were removed from a plane after her son took off his face mask to eat a snack. The incident happened before the plane takes off.
The 34 years old mother, Jodi Degyansky said that she was told many times that her son would have to wear his mask on the flight from Fort Myers, Florida, to Chicago on Saturday.
She claimed she had assured the flight attendants that they would wear masks for the entire flight.
But Jodi says the flight which had already left the gate, turned back just to removed her from the plane even though her son had put his mask back on.
“Flight attendants kept coming over asking if we would wear it the full flight, and I said he would,” she said.
“A couple minutes later, we were pulled back into the gate and I was asked to leave the plane accompanied by the manager, the supervisor, the flight attendants and the pilot,” continued Jodi.
Jodi says she wants the airline to have a little compassion for parents who have small children who need to make sure their children always wear face masks throughout the flight.
According to Mirror UK, Centers for Disease Control guidelines say that children two years and above should wear a mask if it’s hard to social distance.
