Baskin-Robbins (B-R) Malaysia in a media statement uploaded on its Facebook page yesterday informed that a staff member from B-R One Utama was reported positive for COVID-19.
According to the statement, the last time the staff was on duty was on October 22 and is currently receiving treatment at a government hospital.
Once informed that the victim has symptoms of infection, the victim is discharged from duty and instructed to undergo quarantine.
“At Baskin-Robbins Malaysia, the safety and well-being of our customers and employees is a top priority. It saddens us to hear that one team member from Baskin-Robbins One Utama has tested positive for COVID-19,” said B-R on their statement.
In this regard, B-R has taken several immediate actions including closing the B-R One Utama branch temporarily for disinfection work as well as directing close contact with the victim to undergo screening and quarantine.
