Cats can get fleas by being outside or get them from other animals like dogs or pests. It can be extremely itchy to them and if you’re not careful, they might scratch themselves until they’re wounded because of it.
Flea shampoo for pets can be expensive, and not many people have the time or money to send their furry friend out for grooming.
Luckily, D’Cat D’ Hati from Facebook has a tips about how to got rid of fleas from cat by using a dish soap.

‘Glo’ is a popular brand that you see everywhere, and it’s a strong detergent that gets rid of oils or food and washes it off from a surface completely.
The first thing to do is to get your pet (in this case, a cat) and apply the ‘Glo Pekat’ dish soap onto its body until it gets bubbly. Leave it on your pet for 3-4 minutes.

Side note: Don’t let the cat lick its fur while the soap is still on it!
After waiting, rinse off the soap from your pet and see the dead fleas getting washed away!
Then, wipe its fur until it’s damp and comb through the fur with a narrow-toothed comb to catch the other fleas that got stuck in its fur.

You only use this method once, and it’s when they have really bad fleas.
“Using this every day might make your pet bald,” said the Facebook post.
The post-flea removal option is that you can always get a fur conditioning shampoo for your cat if the chemicals from the ‘Glo Pekat’ are too harsh on them.
Finally, your cat is flea-free!
