How shocked the mother was when she saw the photos of the results from Ultrasound (USG). Not that anything bad happened, it’s just… that the baby who was still in the womb was seen giving a thumbs-up.
The New York Post reported that this incident was experienced by Holly Giles, 33, who was doing a 20-week pregnancy check-up at the Pilgrim Hospital, Boston, on December 9, 2020.
At that time Giles came with her friend to visit a sonographer. Seeing the ultrasound results, the sonographer was surprised. He then allowed Giles’s best friend to take the photo.
“The midwife saw it first and just said ‘Oh my God’ and we were both scrambling to see the screen,” said Giles.
“She said it was really rare and she had never seen anything like that before. Even though babies wriggle around a lot, he or she was doing it for some time.
“We were all just in hysterics because of everything that’s going on at the moment. With how everything is going at the moment it’s just my little one’s way of saying everything will be alright.”
For a few moments, they got hysterical to see this unusual photo. Then Giles felt touched because as if the baby said that the little guy was fine.
“With everything that’s going on at the moment, it’s just your little one’s way of saying that everything is going to be okay,” said Giles.
Giles said the moment was very touching because her own mother died when she was a teenager, and she was not sure if she would be able to conceive.
“I’m absolutely buzzing to see him or her. I feel like they are a gift from my mum,” she said.
