Liverpool top player, Sadio Mane appointed as a hero by the people of his home country of Senegal. It is after he donating £41,000 (RM216,000) to prevent the spread of Covid-19 in Senegal.
The Liverpool winger has shown remarkable performance this season after scoring 18 goals and making 12 assists.
Despite the Premier League being suspended until April 3, Mane is still a hero even when he is not on the field.
As prove, Mane’s generous attitude is not the first after he has also paid to build a hospital, a mosque and a sports stadium in the village he grew up in, while he also donated money to help build a school. Not just that, he also gives each family in his village £70 every month.
To date, a total of 27 positive Covid-19 cases have been reported in Senegal. However, it is believed that two of them have fully recovered.
