Us is an American psychological horror-thriller film produced in the year 2019. The writer-director, Jordan Peele is the same as the movie Get Out. The film stars Lupita Nyong’o, Winston Duke, Elisabeth Moss, and Tim Heidecker and it is about Nyong’o’s family who is attacked by a group of scary doppelgangers.
The project was announced in February 2018 and the filming took place from July to October 2018 in California, most of the time in Los Angeles, Pasadena, and Santa Cruz.
After that, it was premiered globally at South by Southwest on the 8th of March, 2019, and then theatrically released on March 22, 2019, in the United States by Universal Pictures. It collected $255 million worldwide when the budget is 20$ million. It received reviews as well as criticisms for Peele’s screenplay and the actors’ performances.

What ‘Us’ Is About
In 1986, Adelaide, a young girl watched a commercial for Hands Across America. During the night, she wanders off from her parents at the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk and enters a funhouse. In that place, she saw a doppelganger of herself in the house of mirrors.
As the years pass, adult Adelaide goes on vacation with her family consists of her husband, Gabe Wilson, and their children, Zora and Jason. She still went despite the fact that she was anxious about the trip as she was still haunted by the memories of what she encountered when she was a kid.
During their trip, they encountered strange events before the night, where the story folds.
