Globally, more than 1,000,000 people have tested positive and more than 50,000 have died from COVID-19, according to Johns Hopkins University.
According to data released by Johns Hopkin University, the virus has so far killed more than 50,000 with the largest casualties recorded in Italy, and followed by Spain, while US has reported more than 244,000 cases, with over 5,900 deaths.
A total of 6.6 million people in the US filed for unemployment last week which recorded the highest number of initial claims in history.
