As everybody in this whole wide world knows, Elon Musk has spent nearly two decades rallying SpaceX fans around his own goal of colonizing Mars, something world governments are not currently attempting in part because of the unfathomable price tag such a mission will entail. Elon Musk refers to his interplanetary ambitions more like a sci-fi protagonist with moral calling than an entrepreneur with a disruptive business plan. He has a very high vision for it.
Elon Musk once stated that if there is something terrible that happens on Earth, either made by humans or natural, people would want to have, like, life insurance for life as a whole. That is why he is so invented with the idea about the planet Mars. Other than that, he also mentioned that there would be some kind of excitement and adventure.
The plan for a Mars settlement brings up numerous technological, political, and ethical questions. One of the most challenging hurdles may also be financial. The planet is also an exceedingly lethal place to visit as humans could be killed by radiation exposure, and the planet’s surface is so low in atmospheric pressure that a person’s blood would literally boil if they were exposed to the elements. That means settlers would permanently need to live in air-tight habitats or clunky spacesuits to keep them alive. NASA and others have been researching possible Mars habitats and survival methods for decades, but there is no clearly defined path forward as of yet. Not everyone, though, was thrilled about the idea of leaving Earth and overlooking its problems
SpaceX recently secured a contract with NASA’s Human Landing Systems (HLS) program to develop and build a lunar lander for the agency’s Artemis program, which aims to land humans on the moon by 2024. Elon Musk said he plans to send 1 million people to Mars by 2050. This involves building 1,000 Starship rockets over 10 years and that is 100 Starships every year and also launching an average of three Starships per day.
Other than that, Elon Musk also stated that he wanted to use the money that he has to get humanity to Mars and preserve the light of consciousness. Elon Musk’s net worth has increased exponentially lately and the SpaceX CEO has then acknowledged it and expressed his wish to continue with his mission involving the Red Planet.
