Largest crocodiles might have been something that many people would be afraid of. This might be shocking but there are indeed many large crocodiles that exist in this whole wide world. All of them look incredibly terrifying to look at.
Recently, two large crocodiles were found in Sarawak. Their length is 15 and also 13 feet respectively and they were successfully arrested by the authorities. A lot of people get scared when first looking at both of the large crocodiles.

1) Sarcosuchus imperator (41 Feet)
This would be the largest crocodile that has ever existed before. With the measurement of 5 feet and 6 inches of the skull and a total of 41 feet long for the body, this crocodile is definitely the one to be scared of. Luckily, it has extinct from this world. According to AZ Animals, this humongous crocodile took 55 years to reach its full size.
2) Purussaurus brasilensis (41 Feet)
This crocodile used to live in South America and weighed about 18,500 pounds. Its terribly large size and also the giant teeth made it hard for other species to harm it. Scientists even had stated that every bite that it made exerted a total of 15,500 pounds of force. That is incredibly strong for a crocodile.
3) Mourasuchus (39 Feet 4 Inches)
This species is so unique as it had a duck-like face and not many crocodile species have that. It can grow up to as long as 39-feet-4-inches long. 6 million years ago, it was believed to live in Brazil and Venezuela. According to all the evidence collected so far, it is suggested that the duck-like face is used to scoop water into its mouth and also to swallow its prey in a whole. Unfortunately, this species has a very weak tooth.
4) Rhamphosuchus (36 Feet)
This species is likely to live around the Miocene period. As can be seen from its fossils, it can grow up to 26 feet in length. Its beak is also so unique because of the shape of the unique beak-like snout. Due to that, it is also usually called the beak crocodile. Amazingly, this crocodile can weigh up to 6,000 pounds.
5) Deinosuchus (35 Feet)
There was actually abundant evidence that proves that this crocodile live in the Eastern United States. They could weigh up to 11,000 pounds. With this weight, it could crush other dinosaurs as well. Uniquely, it has a special plate with holes in it. So, it makes them capable of breathing when completely underwater.
