It is announced that First Class Bachelor’s degree graduates would get some benefits. The government will give back the loan repayment exemption of the National Higher Education Fund Corporation (PTPTN) to them. They are who completed their studies starting in the year 2019.
Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob said the privilege would be given to deserving degree graduates regardless of economic status, race, and religion. Therefore, he hoped that PTPTN could discuss with the Ministry of Finance the matter in terms of the allocations involved.
“This is an encouragement to the children of Malaysian families to study hard and get the best grades in their studies,” he said. He made the announcement during a speech to officiate PTPTN’s 25th Silver Jubilee Celebration at the Malaysian Foreign Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE) Exhibition and Convention Center (MECC) here today.
