Screamfest is dubbed to be another one of Sunway Lost World Of Tambun’s best horror fests! It is jam-packed with 6 spooky attractions, 5 captivating performances, and many other spine-chilling activities. This event will run for 11 nights beginning from 21st October to 31st October.
According to Nurul Nuzairi, General Manager of Lost World Of Tambun, the concept for this festival was stirred by the resounding success of its predecessor, “Day of the Dead.” He stated, “With Screamfest, we can continue sharing our bizarre exploits with local and international horror enthusiasts, except this time guests will be able to experience elevated offerings.”
The décor and menu are influenced by regional mythological creatures like the “pocong,” “Pontianak,” and even the undead from Western media, otherwise known as “zombies.” Fans will also be pleased to learn that Screamfest will last for 11 nights as opposed to the previous one-day event. “We initially considered making it a one-night event, but in light of the massive public interest, we chose to extend the duration significantly. It just seemed like the right choice,” Nurul emphasized.
Moving on, the team has also worked closely with their in-house chef to prepare Halloween-themed treats for customers to fully immerse themselves throughout the night. This choice was made in regard to their penchant for trying out new items on the menu while having a wonderful time around the park. Complemented with bloodcurdling decorations and an eerie ambiance, guests will definitely be served with a strong dose of fear! There will also be a number of conventional meals available at the park’s café down Ipoh Street, so fear not, less daring foodies.

- Curse of The Deviants
Millions of years have passed since the caves were formed, but the witch and night crawlers have been here way longer. You are surrounded by a vast area of darkness as you face the witch — legs trembling, stomach churning. Fragments of the moonlight slash across her face, revealing a sinister smile as she offers you a trinket. Right outside, the cave crawlers are beginning to grow restless as you steel yourself for a bloody escape. What will you do?
- Haunted Chambers: Zombies vs Pontianak
Hold your breath as you enter the Haunted Chambers, a lair blanketed by a flurry of screams, strange beings, and the echoes of your worst dreams. Will you be able to evade the dead who vie for your soul, or will you be trapped and forced to spend an eternity LOST in Tambun?
- Witch’s Alley
There was something ominously captivating about this forest. It felt like the pumpkins would smile whenever you walked past, and there was a tall shadowy figure giving out bright-colored candies when you mention a certain phrase. Come drop by with your little ones as they indulge in a range of Halloween activities like a parade and trick-or-treating!
- Reaper’s Passage
Off a hidden path in the Malayana Rainfortress, lays the Reaper’s Passage — where fear and regret await. Do you have what it takes to negotiate your way through a labyrinth of terror as The Grim Reaper confronts you for your misdeed?
- Evac Express
It doesn’t matter that zombies have been overplayed on various media platforms. Come hitch a ride to our Tin Valley where terrifying zombies wait in the shadows to show you a bloody, good time. It will feel almost as if… they’re really alive.
- Lupe’s Adventure – Spooky Ride
Perak’s first-ever roller coaster is here! Come take a seat if you dare, as this attraction will take you through some riveting curves and dives! But BEWARE. Pontianaks await you in the far distance, and the tunnels are terrifyingly dark. So dark that you can almost reach out to it with your hands.

This horror event will feature world-class performances by a team of talented local performers, so fans are advised to set aside time in their schedules. It starts guests at the Main Stage for our Zombie Royalty Ball and takes them on a captivating Cirque Du Freak performance followed by The Condemned by Flaming Percussion, Dukun Mantra, Scream Fest Final Show: Zombie DJ Party. Each performance showcases its performers on a large stage, singing, dancing, spitting fire (yes, we’re not kidding), and entertaining guests with enchanting acts. We can only ask they come prepared as our performers will keep them laughing and glued to their seats ALL NIGHT.
The park is also expected to be a local hot spot as the park’s retail store remains open throughout
the event. This is the perfect time for you to track down limited-edition collectibles!
“Screamfest will be the first of many initiatives to help the local tourism scene on the road to recovery after two years of an economic standstill.
