Theft and burglary can happen anywhere. We usually hear about people breaking into houses and stealing things. However, theft and burglary even exist outside of the house.
On the 29th of October, Brickfields Police Department received a report on branded car theft at a workshop in Jalan Damansara, Kg. Bukit Lanjan, Kuala Lumpur. A complainant, a Chinese man, noticed a sign of burglary from the workshop’s entrance. Besides that, he also realized the missing of several car keys.
From the investigation, the police stated that the suspect, in this case, must have broken the lock of the workshop’s door. The suspect has taken branded cars like a Mercedes Benz, a white Toyota Land Cruiser, and a Nissan Skyline GTR Prestige. All of the cars cost up to RM940,000.
The stolen cars are the customers’ belonging. The cars were sent to the workshop to be repaired. Nevertheless, before the owner of the cars could take their belonging back, the theft incident happened.
Police are still investigating the case and are taking a look at the CCTVs nearby.
Those who have any further information about the burglary may make a report or contact Brickfields Police Hotline at 03-2297 9222.
