Although The Makan has been operating for around two years, it’s still relatively new, as not many are aware of its existence.
Yet, they deserve the rave and exposure because most visitors acclaim The Makan as one of the best Malaysian restaurants in Seoul!
A Malaysian-Korean Youtuber couple, HojehojeTV 호제호제 티비, made an extensive review of this restaurant, proclaiming it as ‘authentic’.
Malaysians are very particular about their nasi lemak. And it shows that The Makan serves an authentic taste of sambal and rice as they rate the restaurant an 8.5 out of 10. That’s a high score we can trust!
What do they offer?
Aside from friendly chefs, and a homey environment, The Makan offers:
- Delicious food with generous portions
- Malaysia’s popular snack for our mengeteh/mengopi (or membawang) session: pisang goreng!
- Famous dishes like nasi lemak, nasi goreng, char kuey teow, sate and Penang prawn mee are available here
