The FIFA World Cup started on November 20 and will end on December 18. Since then, North Koreans have been streaming the World Cup on Korea Central Television.
It has been viral on Twitter by @Fekerfanta, that North Korea is broadcasting the World Cup on their television service, Korea Central TV. Despite the country did not buy the rights to stream the tournament, the country was streaming the tournament live via a pirated signal.
On the viral post, @Fekerfanta uploaded pictures of the live game between Qatar and Ecuador. The logo of the broadcast service, Korea Central TV was blurred out, just like any other unprincipled streaming on the internet. Nevertheless, the logo still can be noticed.

The Supreme Leader of North Korea is Kim Jong-un, and his family has ruled the country for three generations. Interestingly, Kim Jong-un is a fan of football and supports Manchester United.
Before this, in 1966 and 2010, North Korea participated in the World Cup.
Furthermore, the president of FIFA, Gianni Infantino, has a say in the controversy of the tournament host, Qatar. He mentioned that any country can host the event. That includes North Korea.
Infantino revealed that he had asked North Koreans if they would like to host the Women’s Word Cup With South Korea a few years back. He was not successful but claimed he would gladly give it another go.
