Chef Wan is mostly known for his amazing cooking skills. Aside from that, his humor also captures the heart of many Malaysians. Most importantly, we all know his filial duty towards his mother, Noraini Abdullah or Cik Ani.
Recently, Chef Wan shared a photo of her mother with a nurse. He just hired a personal nurse to take care of her mother who has dementia and cancer. He revealed that he spent almost RM6,000 so that her mother would be looked after with love and care.
Chef Wan gave his trust to the nurse as she has experienced working with elderly patients for four years. For him, getting care of by a nurse is different from being taken care of by a maid. A nurse is able to shower patients, change diapers, feed them, and help with medications professionally.
Money is not a problem for Chef Wan. He mentioned that he would make an effort to find money so his mother could always be happy.
Some people thought that Chef Wan was showing off his good deeds. Nevertheless, he did not mind what they wanted to say as more people are inspired by his deeds.
“You can never go wrong by being kind and generous to your own parent,” Chef Wan said.
His post about his mother has gained numerous encouragement. People agree that mothers are everything.
Chef Wan’s post on Instagram did not solely tell about his mother. He inspired and reminded us to do our responsibility as a son or a daughter.
