We have been saying a lot about how Malaysia appeals to many people, especially a foreigner. Malaysia has a charm of their own that is simply hard to resist. Let it be food, tourist destination or hospitality: there are more reasons for those than the locals can list.

And it is always exciting to hear what people outside of Malaysia say about us. Therefore, a video shared by Lilith (@lilithinkl) on TikTok intrigued us to find out what she likes about Malaysia.

The rain

This is one of the reasons that we can classify as a bit weird. Lilith loves the continuous downpour in Malaysia! She even calls the rain ‘queen’!

Since Lilith said she comes from the desert, a dry land, she appreciates the drizzle she often experiences in Malaysia.

Although the locals have a love-hate relationship with the weather, we are glad she likes it.

Sunsets

Everyone in the world witnesses the sunset from everywhere they are. For some, the sunset might look similar to anything they see on the internet. However, Lilith said that the sunset in Malaysia is ‘unreal’ when it happens!

Slang

Of course, Malaysian slang will be on her list. Malaysians have suffixes like –lah, –mah, –weh, and –meh. It makes our sentences feel more friendly, in a sense. It also fits in every situation. Therefore, no wonder Lilith loves our slang!

And don’t worry-lah Lilith, you can definitely use them!

Local fruits

Local fruits in Malaysia, like durian, mangosteen, ciku, langsat, rambutan and others, are loved by many.

We are delightfully surprised that Lilith loves duku!

Affordable education

Lastly, Lilith stated that education in Malaysia is affordable. Even though it no longer applies to her now, she was once a student in Malaysia before. Speaking from her experience, she was here for it!

Many Malaysians give her a warm welcome in the comment section.

Whenever we see anything good relating to Malaysia on the net, it makes us even prouder to be from this prosperous country.

We hope Lilith enjoys her life in Malaysia and explores the many hidden galore this jackpot can offer!
