Fans around the world might have known this: BTS members are exempted from being enlisted in military service. They have contributed much to their country, and now South Korea is known around the globe.
Despite being exempted, some of the BTS members wanted to be a part of the obligatory service for men in South Korea. Before this, fans witnessed the departure of Kim Seok-jin or professionally known as Jin to the army.
Now, it is j-hope, or his real name, Jung Ho-seok’s turn to enlist in the army. The news is shared by the entertainment company, BIG HIT MUSIC:

“We would like to inform our fans that J-hope has initiated the military enlistment process by applying for the termination of his enlistment postponement.”
“We will inform you of further updates in due course. Thus, we ask you for your continued love and support for J-hope until he completes his military service and safely returns. Our company will spare no effort in providing support for our artists.”
“Thank you.”
j-hope is the second member of BTS to apply for the termination of the enlistment postponement after Jin.
Recently, j-hope released a documentary on Disney+ about his journey with his solo album, ‘j-hope IN THE BOX.’
