This year, 83 children of F&NHB employees got a reason to smile. Collectively, they received RM230,500 in cash awards for excelling in academics, co-curriculars, and university admissions.
The F&N Chairman’s Award, running since 2003, is more than just a cash prize, it’s a celebration of hard work, passion, and family support. From top exam scores to state and national-level sports achievements, the awards highlight the next generation of talent, some of whom may one day join F&N AgriValley or other F&N initiatives.
“We take pride in seeing young talent grow into capable leaders. This award recognises their hard work and the support of their families,” said YAM Tengku Syed Badarudin Jamalullail, Chairman of F&NHB.
Among the recipients:
Muhammad Fahim Zharfan is heading to Hochschule Kaiserslautern, Germany for Mechanical Engineering. He shared, “I’ve been learning German for two years to prepare. I hope to one day work at F&N and make a positive impact through my skills.”
Dhanika A/P Nagarajan will study English at Tunku Abdul Rahman University. She said, “Being accepted motivates me to work harder. I hope to inspire others with my skills in language and communication.”
Siti Nursuhaila binti Junaidi, pursuing International Relations at UNIMAS, reflected, “Seeing my mother’s dedication at F&N motivates me to pursue my goals with the same determination.”
Lau Cheng Wei, heading to KLUST for Agricultural Science (Plantation Management), shared, “I hope to contribute positively to sustainable agriculture and the future of our agri-operations.”
Parents also had their proud moments: from guidance and encouragement to sharing personal reflections on their F&N journeys, the celebration was a reminder that family support matters as much as personal effort.
With initiatives like this, F&NHB continues to champion education, personal growth, and the next generation of talent both within its workforce and the wider community.
