Pokémon Pokopia Hits the Road with Nintendo Switch 2: LED Pop Up Pokémon Truck Comes to Malaysia this March 5th!

The Pokémon Company, headquartered in Minato-ku, Tokyo, and led by CEO Tsunekazu Ishihara, is excited to share news about Pokémon Pokopia.

This title is available for Nintendo Switch 2. The announcement specifically targets the Malaysian market.

From 5th March to 4th June 2026, Pokémon fans in Malaysia can look forward to the arrival of the Pokémon Truck.

This initiative is a collaboration with Nintendo Switch 2. It brings a unique gaming adventure to high-traffic malls in the Klang Valley. The truck invites fans to step inside and dive straight into the action.

The campaign, titled “Play Pokémon Pokopia Game with Pokémon Truck at Your Town!”, will take the Pokémon Truck on a journey across Klang Valley. It allows fans to step directly into the world of Pokémon Pokopia.

The Pokémon Truck brings the world of Pokémon Pokopia to life.

The team converted this vibrant 20-foot LED truck into a dedicated Nintendo Switch 2 interactive gaming space. It features four game stations; each paired with comfortable sofa seating.

Each game station consists of a Nintendo Switch 2 console, Pokémon Pokopia board panel, and operation panel.

Players can explore the latest title, Pokémon Pokopia, a life simulation game. The game allows players to shape the world around them and build a cozy new life with Pokémon.

They can enjoy this experience within the truck’s comfortable surroundings, assisted by a friendly on-site crew.

Fun Activities and Souvenirs for Fans

Beyond the gameplay, the experience extends outside the truck with a lively event area. The area features special Pikachu appearances for fans to enjoy.

The event also includes a family-friendly colouring zone. Here, young children can unleash their creativity by colouring their own versions of their favourite Pokémon.

Visitors can also capture unforgettable memories at the Pokémon Pokopia photo zone and themed photo booth. These attractions make the entire stop a complete Pokémon Pokopia journey filled with fun, games, and shareable moments.

The organizers will distribute Pokémon Pokopia sun visors featuring Pokémon from the game as souvenirs for visitors, while stocks last.

List of Locations and Dates

The Pokémon Truck will be roving on the road in specific routes in Cheras, Kuala Lumpur, Petaling Jaya, Shah Alam, Puchong, Ampang, Bukit Jalil, Kepong, Subang and Damansara, from 5th March to 4th June 2026.

• Tuesday to Thursday: The truck will circulate within city areas.
• Friday to Sunday: The truck will anchor at selected locations, where visitors can enjoy the full gaming experience along with the event stage and Pokémon Pokopia activity zones.

The Pokémon Truck will appear at the following malls on these dates*, featuring an event stage and activities with different Pokémon Pokopia zones.

Fans may be treated to Pikachu mascot appearances during selected weekend sessions. Appearances will take place on selected Saturdays and Sundays at designated time slots, subject to event arrangements.
