Insta Lux: A Camera Designed from the Child Up
Taking centre stage at the launch is the all-new myFirst Insta Lux, priced at RM799. Each purchase also comes with two complimentary refill packs (20 sheets) worth RM98.
Unlike traditional instant cameras that stop at the moment of capture, Insta Lux is built around how kids create and share today.
The camera features dual 5MP front and rear cameras, a 2.8-inch IPS display for intuitive framing and Wi-Fi connectivity that allows parents to send selected photos directly from their smartphones through the myFirst Circle app for instant printing.
Using dye-sublimation technology, Insta Lux produces vibrant, long-lasting colour prints while offering creative frames and filters that encourage storytelling and self-expression.
The device also supports up to 64GB expandable storage, USB-C charging, and an ergonomic design tailored for smaller hands.

myFirst Circle Keeps Kids Connected Safely
While Insta Lux focuses on real-world creativity through instant photo printing, it also connects thoughtfully to the digital world through the myFirst Circle app.
Parents can securely send photos from their smartphones to the camera for printing, turning everyday digital moments into physical keepsakes.
Beyond photo sharing, the platform creates a private family-managed space where kids can communicate safely. Unlike open social media platforms, myFirst Circle keeps interactions within trusted contacts, reinforcing the brand’s commitment to responsible technology use.

Alongside Insta Lux, myFirst also introduced several new and upgraded devices designed to support how children communicate, create and explore.
myFirst Fone M1 (RM399)
The 4G-enabled smartwatch phone gives kids a safe introduction to digital communication.
It offers real-time GPS tracking, voice and video calls, and messaging within the myFirst Circle network, allowing parents to stay connected while children enjoy greater independence.
myFirst Frame Clario (RM499)
Frame Clario is a 7-inch smart family frame designed for private photo sharing and one-tap video calls within the myFirst ecosystem.
Beyond displaying meaningful memories, the frame also features customisable ambient soundscapes that create a calming atmosphere at home.
myFirst Sketch Board Pro (RM199)
This lightweight digital drawing tablet turns screen time into focused creativity. With a responsive writing surface and simple controls, it encourages kids to sketch, brainstorm and express ideas freely without distractions.
myFirst CareBuds Max (RM169)
Designed specifically for young listeners, these wireless over-ear headphones feature smart volume limiting between 85–94dB and a lightweight fit for growing ears.
Interchangeable ear cups also allow kids to personalise their look while maintaining healthy listening habits.
myFirst 3dPen Make Creator Kit (RM299)
The all-in-one creative starter kit includes the 3dPen Make, themed model packs and PCL filaments for hands-on building.
Designed with low-temperature safety and ergonomic controls, it helps children develop patience, focus and spatial creativity.

A Launch Designed as an Experience
Rather than hosting a traditional product reveal, myFirst designed the Malaysia launch as a guided discovery experience.
“We intentionally designed the Malaysia launch as a progressive journey rather than a conventional reveal,” said Brian Tan.
“Malaysia is an incredibly important market for us and we’re seeing more families here looking for technology that feels purposeful and thoughtfully designed for their children.”
Guests moved through three immersive zones; Arrival, Launch and Touch & Learn, each unveiling a different layer of the Insta Lux philosophy.
Subtle cues revealed three defining ideas:
- “Printed from a phone”
- “Sent through the myFirst Circle app”
- “Captured with confidence”
The final Touch & Learn zone allowed guests to print photos directly from the camera and smartphone while exploring the wider ecosystem.
The experience also featured the Pastry Memory Experience, where printed photo moments were displayed like curated desserts.
By the end of the journey, guests didn’t just see Insta Lux, they experienced how it fits into everyday family life.
Public Roadshow at Sunway Pyramid
Following the launch, myFirst will host a public roadshow at Sunway Pyramid from 26–29 March 2026.
Families can explore the new devices through interactive demo stations, try instant photo printing with Insta Lux, test the 3dPen Make Creator Kit, and experience how Fone M1 and Frame Clario connect within the ecosystem.
With a minimum spend of RM199, shoppers can enter a lucky draw featuring prizes such as the myFirst Fone R2 and other exclusive rewards.
Visitors can also meet the brand mascot Mino, check in at the event space and collect limited-edition merchandise while stocks last.
On 28 March 2026 at 10am, the first 100 customers who purchase Insta Lux (RM799) will receive a complimentary Fone M1 worth RM399, available on a first-come, first-served basis.
