Tesla Launches New Experience Centre at Mid Valley Southkey, Johor Bahru and Starts Delivering Model Y L in Malaysia

4 June 2026– Tesla Malaysia has achieved its next milestones with the official opening of the Tesla Experience Center in The Mall, Mid Valley Southkey, Johor Bahru; expanding its footprint in Malaysia. Model Y L, the latest six-seater model also starts delivery across Malaysia in just two months after its launch in April.

The 3,300 sq.ft Tesla Experience Centre is strategically located at G-019, South, Mid Valley Southkey (Near Sogo), connecting Tesla owners and lovers in Malaysia and Singapore. Model 3 – Malaysia’s best-selling electric sedan, Model Y – world’s best-selling electric vehicle and Model Y L – six-seater SUV are on display to show the full Tesla product line-up in Malaysia.

All models have received top safety ratings in multiple renowned global safety organizations, including NHTSA and IIHS (America), Euro NCAP (Europe), ANCAP (Australia and New Zealand), and C-IASI (China); setting new benchmarks in safety, efficiency, performance, and advanced technology. Tesla is also operating four Superchargers at Ground External, North, Mid Valley Southkey (Near St. Giles Hotels) to provide an end-to-end customer experience to customers.

All Tesla Model 3, Model Y and Model Y L registered in Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand now have access to cross- country service and support coverage in the region, including Tesla’s charging network, connectivity and service warranty. The service warranty covers Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand, which owners can easily access to the 9 existing Tesla Service Centre & Service Express and 12 Tesla Approved Body Shop in the region.

With Premium Connectivity subscription, Tesla vehicles can fully enjoy roaming coverage, infotainment and AI features, such as Grok, Internet browser, live traffic & navigation, trip planner, video and music streaming etc. Coupled with 24/7 support via the Tesla service hotline, going for a cross-country road trip is now a breeze.

As of early 2026, Tesla operates 19 Supercharging stations with 84 Superchargers and 17 Destination Charging stations with 73 Destination Chargers across Malaysia, more charging stations are coming soon in Klang Valley, Penang, Perak and East Malaysia. At peak efficiency of 250 kW, a Tesla Model Y L can gain up to 288 km of range in just 15 minutes, with charging easily managed or paid for via the Tesla app.
