Malaysia’s beloved animated superhero, BoBoiBoy, is officially celebrating his 15th anniversary, and fans are invited to join an exciting year-end celebration packed with entertainment, activities and exclusive experiences.
Monsta Fiesta 2026 is returning from 17 to 20 December 2026 at the IOI Grand Exhibition & Convention Centre, Putrajaya, bringing together characters from the MONSTA universe, including BoBoiBoy, Mechamato and Papa Zola.
Organised by One Universal Production Sdn. Bhd. (OUP) in collaboration with MONSTA, the festival promises an unforgettable experience for fans and families.
And the best part? Admission to Monsta Fiesta 2026 is completely free!
World’s First Ticketed BoBoiBoy Live Show Makes Its Debut
One of the biggest highlights of this year’s celebration is BoBoiBoy Live Show: Misi Rekrut TAPOPS, billed as the world’s first ticketed BoBoiBoy live stage production.
For the first time, fans will get to experience their favourite animated characters beyond the television screen through a specially produced one-hour performance.
The show promises exciting storytelling, action sequences, visual effects and live performances, bringing BoBoiBoy and his friends to life on stage.
Taking place from 18 to 21 December 2026, the production will feature four shows daily, giving fans 16 opportunities to experience the adventure.
Showtimes are scheduled at 11 AM, 2.30 PM, 5 PM and 8.30 PM.

Sleep in BoBoiBoy’s World With His First-Ever Themed Hotel Room
Imagine spending the night surrounded by your favourite childhood superhero!
In another exciting first for the franchise, MONSTA is introducing the first-ever BoBoiBoy Thematic Hotel Room at Moxy Putrajaya.
Developed in collaboration with Moxy Putrajaya and Thematic Legendary Kingdom, the specially designed accommodation aims to offer an immersive stay inspired by the world of BoBoiBoy.
The themed room will be available for a limited period, from December 2026 until December 2027.
While the official launch date, booking details and room packages have yet to be announced, the experience is expected to give families another way to celebrate their love for the Malaysian animated superhero.
Meet BoBoiBoy, Mechamato & Papa Zola at Monsta Fiesta 2026
Beyond the live show, Monsta Fiesta 2026 will feature four days of exciting activities celebrating the wider MONSTA universe.
Visitors can look forward to mascot Meet & Greets, a cosplay competition, merchandise giveaways, special performances, screenings and interactive booth activities.
There will also be opportunities to win exciting prizes throughout the festival.
For younger fans, the BoBoiBoy Inflatable Playland will feature up to five inflatable attractions, with entry priced at RM18 per person.
Meanwhile, collectors can explore the official BoBoiBoy merchandise zone, featuring various products and exclusive collectibles.
Get Up Close With BoBoiBoy & Friends
Fans who want a special memory with their favourite characters can also participate in the BoBoiBoy & Friends Meet & Greet sessions.
Available from 18 to 21 December, the sessions are priced at RM38 per photo, with limited slots available on-site.
Each session lasts 30 minutes, with several sessions scheduled throughout the day.
It’s an exciting opportunity for children and longtime fans to capture memorable moments with the characters they have grown up watching.
Celebrating 15 Years of Malaysian Animation
Since his debut 15 years ago, BoBoiBoy has grown into one of Malaysia’s most recognisable homegrown animated franchises, reaching audiences locally and internationally through television series, films, digital content and merchandise.
According to Ezdiani Ahmad Fawzi, Executive Director of MONSTA, the company’s ambition goes beyond the screen, with a focus on developing original characters and stories that continue to grow alongside their audiences.
Now entering its third edition, Monsta Fiesta has expanded its reach over the years, including previous activities in Indonesia.
This year’s celebration will also feature an expanded MGC Championship 2026, which MONSTA plans to make twice the scale of its previous edition, with greater international participation anticipated.
Meanwhile, Alvin Lee, CEO of One Universal Production, said the live show and themed hotel experience are designed to bring families closer to the world of BoBoiBoy.
