Tesla has introduced Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) Powershare for the new Model 3, Model Y and Model Y L, alongside interior and hardware upgrades for the Model 3.
V2L Powershare allows owners to use their vehicle’s battery to power external devices and appliances. With the Tesla Outlet Adapter, compatible vehicles can provide a 230V outlet with up to 13A of power, suitable for lamps, power tools and small appliances. The company has also opened reservations for its next-generation Roadster in Malaysia.
Model 3 Receives Interior Upgrades
The updated Model 3 now features a black headliner and a larger 16-inch centre touchscreen, with the new Zen Grey interior and 19-inch Dark Nova wheels available as options.
The vehicle offers a WLTP-estimated range of up to 750km and can accelerate from 0 to 100km/h in as little as 3.1 seconds, depending on the variant. Prices start at RM149,000, with monthly payments from RM1,148.
The updated Model 3 is available to order through Tesla Malaysia.
Next-Generation Roadster Opens for Reservations
Tesla has opened Roadster reservations in the United States and selected markets, including Malaysia. Inspired by the SR-71 and F-35 aircraft, the vehicle is designed to deliver high-performance driving and will feature SpaceX-related components.
Production is scheduled to begin in 2028, initially with left-hand-drive vehicles only. Reservations are available through the Tesla Roadster website.
Malaysia’s Charging Network Expands
Tesla Malaysia currently operates 21 Supercharger sites with 92 Superchargers and 18 Destination Charging sites with 78 Wall Connectors.
Six additional charging sites are planned by the end of 2026 across Kuala Lumpur, Selangor, Perak, Seremban and Penang. Tesla also reports that more than 13,000 Malaysian households have been enabled to charge their vehicles at home.
The network supports cross-border travel between Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand, with charging facilities along key regional routes.

- Model 3: Fixed interest rates from 0% or trade-in rebates of up to RM10,000.
- Model Y: Fixed interest rates from 0.88% or trade-in rebates of RM15,000.
- Refer and Earn: New buyers receive RM1,000 off, while referring owners receive RM500 in Tesla Credits.
