Casio has announced the latest additions to its G-SHOCK collection, the GMC-2500 and GAC-2500. The new watches bring the functional beauty of the original G-SHOCK into an analog design.
First launched in 1983, the G-SHOCK DW-5000C was built around the concept of a watch that would not break when dropped.
Since then, the brand has continued to evolve while maintaining its signature shock-resistant construction.

The GMC-2500 and GAC-2500 retain the original model’s iconic form while introducing softer, more rounded contours. Their curved cases create a rich interplay of light and shadow, while the sharply defined dials and indexes offer a refined look and clear readability.
Introducing the Multi-Mission Date Feature
Both models feature the new Multi-Mission Date display, located at the 3 o’clock position. Its three-cell window shows the date, elapsed minutes for the stopwatch, setting information and other details, depending on the selected function.

By setting the year, month and day, users can activate a fully automatic calendar. This eliminates the need for manual date correction in an entirely analog watch.
Designed for Everyday Functionality
At the 9 o’clock position, the small seconds hand can be stopped when unnecessary and restarted at any time. This sleep function helps reduce power consumption and extend battery life.
Guided by its purpose of bringing joy through the power to put wonder at hand, Casio continues to introduce new value through its timepieces. The company aims to go beyond practical timekeeping with diverse functions and distinctive designs that offer new joys of watch-wearing and discovery.
