Weak Quake Strikes Near Kota Marudu

KUALA LUMPUR, March 10 — A weak earthquake, measuring 3.3 on the Richter Scale, struck off the coast of Kota Marudu, Sabah early today.

According to a statement from the Malaysian Meteorological Department, the quake struck at 12.48 am at a depth of 10km, 22km northeast from Kota Marudu.

Tremors might have been felt in the affected area.
