All Mosques And Surau At Green Zone Area In The Federal Territory Will Be Open Starting Tomorrow

Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Datuk Seri Dr Zulkifli Mohamad Al-Bakri has announced that all mosques, and surau in the green zone in the Federal Territory will be open for Friday and congregation prayers starting tomorrow.

According to him, the number of congregations allowed was only 1/3 of the total capacity limit for the main prayer hall.

“For example, if a prayer hall can accommodate 1,000 members at a time, then the number allowed is 330 at this time,” he said.

He added that the ruling will be started  at Friday’s prayer on June 12, 2020, in conjunction with 20 Syawal 1441 Hijrah.
