A man cannot hold his excitement and happiness after mosques in Qatar was started to open again. That man was Musa Abdul-Aleem, a basketball player who plays for one of the Qatar basketball team, Al-Wakrah.
It can be seen in a video that shows how happy he was after knowing that the mosque has reopened again. “The masjid’s open! I think I heard the iqamah!” Said Musa with full of excitement in his Instagram story.
Musa was believed to have not been to the mosque since mid-March after all mosque in Qatar was closed because of COVID-19 outbreak.
“Everyone wants to know the background behind the story of me posting myself running towards the masjid after I heard the Iqamah, when I heard the adhan for Maghrib, I prepared myself for my own salah (prayer) which we’ve all been doing at home,” said Musa.
“As soon I call the iqamah, I heard the iqamah coming from the masjid and I just full of excitement and just the overwhelming feeling of being able to walk to the masjid and make salah in jama’a again. That was amazing,” added Musa.
Musa also said that he was so excited and even forget to bring his sajadah and face mask with him to the mosque.
“Thank you for your love and support and. may Allah put love in our hearts to always be in a place that He loves, ameen. Thank you,” he said.
