A moderate earthquake with 5.3 Rithcer scale hits North Sumatra, Indonesia today. It occurred around 8:58 am in the morning.
As reported by the Malaysian Meteorological Department in a tweet, the quake was believed to be happen 125 km West from Banda Acheh, Indonesia with a depth of 10 km.
But, do not be worried because the earthquake does not pose a tsunami threat to Malaysia.
