COVID-19: 469 New Cases In Singapore, 15 Imported

SINGAPORE, July 27 — Singapore reported 469 new cases of COVID-19 infection in the republic today, with 15 of them being imported cases.

In its brief noon data released here, Singapore’s Ministry of Health (MOH) said all the imported cases were placed on Stay-Home Notice upon arrival in Singapore.

In its brief noon data released here, Singapore’s Ministry of Health (MOH) said all the imported cases were placed on Stay-Home Notice upon arrival in Singapore.

In its full data released late yesterday, Singapore classified 671 of its cases as imported, 2,165 as community cases and 47,533 as dorm residents.

As at noon yesterday, 45,521 or about 90 per cent of the total cases have fully recovered from the infection and have been discharged from hospitals or community care facilities.

There were 173 confirmed cases still in hospital.

Of these, most were stable or improving and no cases were in the intensive care unit.

A total of 4,6481 patients who had symptoms or were clinically well but still tested positive for COVID-19 have been isolated and are being cared for at community facilities.

To date, 27 people have died from complications due to COVID-19 here.

Two new clusters were identified yesterday, both dormitories, at 52 Kaki Bukit Industrial Terrace and 19 Kian Teck Avenue.
