Thailand has give a big impact on food revolutions in Asia. Until now, everyone certainly knows about the country and it’s various and delicious meals.

Most of the food from Thailand contains a spectrum of flavors and texture so vast that two dishes would not taste the same, every single meal has its characteristic.

The number of delicious food from Thailand is endless and it is hard to define which one is the best. Best food is another topic because today we are focusing on the five most popular foods from Thailand.

1. Tom Yum Goong (Spicy Shrimp Soup)

Refreshing lemongrass, chili, lime leaves, galangal, shallots, lime juice, and fish sauce shapes this traditional soup with the herbs smell. Filled with fresh prawns and straw mushrooms made it suitable for dinner.

2. Som Tum (Spicy Green Papaya Salad)

Shredded raw papaya gets dramatically pulverized in a pestle and mortar with garlic, chilies, green beans, and cherry tomatoes. Regional variations throw peanuts, dry shrimps or salted crab into the mix, the latter having a gut-cleansing talent that catches many newcomers surprisingly.

3. Tom Kha Khai (Chicken coconut soup)

Tom Kha Khai almost looks like the Tom Yum, but this iconic soup infuses fiery chilies, thinly sliced young galangal, crushed shallots, stalks of lemongrass, and tender strips of chicken. However, unlike Tom Yum, the coconut milk softens its spicy blow. Topped with some fresh lime leaves, it’s a sweet-smelling concoction that creamy and compelling.

4. Gaeng Daeng (Red Curry)

Made obviously with red curry paste, this meal also has meat, smooth coconut milk and finally topped off with some sliced kaffir lime leaves. All the ingredients give the aromatic curry that always gets those taste buds tingling. When the meat is stunningly tender, it gives the mild, sweet, and delicately fragrant.

5. Pad Thai (Thai style Fried Noodles)

Pad Thai is one of the most popular food in Thailand cause of the fact that it is the default international Thai dish. Options with thin or wide noodles, alongside crunchy beansprout, onion, and egg. Most people will add fish sauce, sugar, chili powder or finely ground peanuts to give the get the best result from the meal.
