Woman Posed As Nurse to Steal Newborn Baby After Having Miscarriage

As a mother, we certainly love our children, especially those who have just given birth to a baby. But, how does a mother feel when the baby that she will be having can no longer be saved?

An incident occurred at the end of the last year after a woman willing to kidnapped an infant after having a miscarriage. It is believed that she had to do it.

The woman who named Li was arrested for kidnapping a newborn baby from the mother in a hospital has revealed that she did it in order to fake her own pregnancy.

She claims that she have lost her unborn child. But, she still continue to pretend she was pregnant.

Li, who is from Guizhou Province in south-western China told a court that she afraid if her lover would leave her if he knew that she had a miscarriage.

Because of that, she faked her pregnancy and planning to steal a newborn baby that close to her due date.

According to Mirror UK, the court then decided she was guilty of kidnapping and handed her a reduced sentence of 1 year and 10 months. That includes time served for Li.

On December 1o last year Li was arrested, 56 hours after she kidnap the newborn baby from Liangjiang Hospital in south-western China.

The hospital CCTV shows Li in a stolen nurse uniform, carrying the infant out of the room where the mother, Chen Mingxin, was sleeping.

It is reported that around 10 people were in the room when the incident occurred. That includes 3 other new mums. The infant was found 300 feet from the hospital’s entrance, that is in Li’s rental room.

“I woke up and my daughter was gone. The mother in the bed next to mine said she was carried away by a woman in a nurse uniform. I wondered why she didn’t tell me, but she thought the woman was a real nurse,” said Ms Chen.

“The suspect actually wanted to take her baby, but she wasn’t successful because she woke up. That’s when she decided to take mine instead,” she added.

She also claimed that the hospital changing room was not locked. It is full of standard nurse uniforms and can be accessed by members of the public.
