(Video) Terrifying Moment Beirut Explosion Hits A Driver That Films It From Miles Away

BEIRUT: A massive explosion in the capital recently had reached 78 dead, adding that nearly 4,000 people had been injured.

There were conflicting reports on the causes of the explosion. It was earlier blamed on a major fire at a warehouse for firecrackers near the port. Also, Lebanon’s Prime Minister Hassan Diab said in a statement that an estimated 2,750 tons of ammonium nitrate, an explosive substance, had been stored at a warehouse for the past six years.

President Michael Aoun, ordered military patrols in the city and vowed to investigate.

The moment was filmed by a driver who was driving on the road that also was affected by the explosion. Posted on Twitter, the man can be seen was casually driving when he saw the big smoke causes from the explosion and started to film it.

While he thought everything is fine with the distance that quite far away from the burning place, another explosion occurred. A ball of fire can be seen and the wave from the explosion reached his car and hit him.

The explosion was too strong where can be seen his windows get shattered and all of the airbags deployed from the front to the side.
