Recently, the U.S. is facing another two tropical storms. Hurricane Marco and tropical storm Laura brought high winds and rough seas between Lousiana and East Texas. It has caused damage to areas of Haiti, Cuba, and the Dominican Republic. Puerto Rico also has been hit with heavy rains.

Donald Trump, the U.S. president had issued hurricane warnings as Gulf Coast prepares for the hurricanes from Marco and Laura.

After Marco drifts in Lousiana on Monday. Marco has sustained winds of up to 75 mph. Marco is moving north between Cuba and Mexico’s Yucatan Peninsula. Laura is expected to hit Texas by Thursday. However, forecasters predicting that Laura may swing east towards Lousiana. This could be the first time for the state to-hit by back-to-back hurricanes.

It is reported that at least three people have been killed in the Dominican Republic as Laura hits the country. Another five deaths were reported in Haiti. Severe flooding has occurred at the capital, Port-au Prince. Many residents in Cuba have been evacuated and housed in shelters or safer buildings.
