Disruption In Water Supply In Kuala Pilah, Tampin, Jempol On Aug 18-19

SEREMBAN, Aug 14 — Water supply to parts of Kuala Pilah, Tampin and Jempol will be temporarily disrupted from 8 a.m. on Aug 18 until 8 a.m. on Aug 19.

Syarikat Air Negeri Sembilan Sdn Bhd (SAINS) public relations head Norzita Ismail  said in a statement here today the disruptions were due to maintenance works at the main switching station at the Tenaga Nasional Bhd (TNB) substation and the Kuala Jelai water treatment plant in Bahau, Jempol.

In Kuala Pilah, the disruption in water supply will involve the whole of Kampung Terentang, Kampung Padang Lebar, Kampung Sungai Jelutong, Kampung Ghalib, Kampung Keru, Kampung Pasir Ambor, Kampung Juasseh Tengah, UiTM Beting, Kg Beting, Kampung Pelangai, Kampung Gentam, Kampung Dioh, Kampung Sungai Dua Kecil, Kampung Sungai Dua Besar, Kampung Dioh Seberang Pekan, Taman Fatimah, Taman Permai and Gentam Flats.

It will also involve Taman Bukit Indah, Kampung Terusan Seberang, Kampung Rembang Panas, Kampung Sungkak, Pekan Juasseh, Taman Desa Permai Juasseh, Rumah Rakyat Juasseh, Taman Putra, Taman Bukit Gelugur, Kampung Desa Bukit Gelugur, Taman Anggerik, Taman Melati Indah, Taman Harmoni, Kampung Jemapoh, Taman Jemapoh Indah, Rumah Rakyat Jemapoh, Kampung Juasseh Kapitan, Melang, Seri Menanti, Ampang Tinggi, Pekan Tanjung Ipoh, Kampung Purun, Kampung Talang Tengah and Pekan Senaling.

Kampung Maasop, Taman Pilah Senaling, Kampung Batang Pilah, Kampung Sri Pilah, Kampung Ulu Pilah, Kampung Sikai, Kampung Gunung Pasir, Kampung Ulu Senaling, Kampung Ulu Rembang Panas, Kampung Ulu Sungai Dua, FELCRA Bembam, Kampung Air Kuning, Kampung Air Besar, Kepis, Malan, Kampung Tulang Rimau, Pekan Dangi, Selaru, Kuala Johol, Inas, Melekai, Pekan Johol, Nuri Renggoh and Air Mawang.

“In Tampin, it involves the whole of Kampung Ulu Yoh while in Jempol district, it involves all of Kampung Batu Peti, Rumah Rakyat Rompin, Taman Melor Rompin, Kampung Baru Rompin and Pekan Rompin.

“It also involves parts of Bahau town, Bandar IOI, Taman Kasih Putera, Taman Desa Puteri, Taman Sri Rompin, Sungai Sebaling and Ladang Geddes,” she said.

Norzita said water supply will resume in stages after the stated hours, but is expected to take longer for high areas.
