Gunman Who Attempted To Assassinate Salman Khan Arrested

Recently, Salman Khan who has turned 54 this year was reported on the radar of a sharpshooter. The police claimed that the accused has been staying around Salman Khan’s home in Galaxy Apartments in Bandra, Mumbai for more than two days.

The police have arrested Rahul, 27 and with three others when the police were investigating another murder case in the city, the police said.

DCP Rajesh Duggal said Rahul arrived in Mumbai in January for the murder attempt. However, he was not able to take out the plan because of the coronavirus outbreak.

After investigation, it is found that Rahul belongs to the notorious Lawrence Bishnoi gang. The gang operates in Punjab, Haryana, and Rajasthan. During the arrest, two pistols were seized. Rahul and three others also confessed to other murder cases. Rahul also had been arrested previously because of possessing an illegal weapon.

The motives behind the murder attempt on the actor are still under investigation.
