This will attract the passerby and anime enthusiasts as the decorated manhole will be reachable in some of Japan’s streets.

Junichi Koike, a city official stated that they are Japan’s first illuminated manhole covers. The authorities are hoping that the decorated manhole can become another attraction to the visitors.
