Malaysia Animal Association Offering RM5,000 Reward To Search Perpetrator

The news about animal cruelty has been increasing in Malaysia. It is quite worrying as it shows how disregardful Malaysians’ attitudes towards animals.

Animal cruelty can be considered as a crime in Malaysia. According to World Animal Protection Organization, animals in Malaysia are protected under the Animal Welfare Act (2015) and can be punished to pay a fine between RM10 to RM10,000 and/or imprisonment for up to three years.

Awful news was reported by the Malaysia Animal Association that animals in Taman Rimba Kiara, Taman Tun Dr. Ismail were shooted with arrows by an irresponsible archer. The organization is looking for the perpetrator and offers RM5,000 who can provide details about the archer.

Archers who shoot monkeys to death and lizards to death are now being hunted. At the urging of the animal-loving community all over the country who want Animal Malaysia’s intervention to drag the perpetrators to justice. Animal Malaysia offers a REWARD of RM5,000.00 to anyone who can come forward to provide complete information on who is the cruel perpetrator.

This shocking incident was reported to have occurred at Taman Rimba Kiara, Taman Tun Dr. Ismail Kuala Lumpur two days ago. A monkey looked miserable after an arrow bow pierced its tail and the monkey did not die but hovered in pain. Another monkey was shot dead.

Witnesses are welcomed. Report to the authorities until a stupid and ruthless archer is arrested, charged, sentenced, and will be awarded a reward of RM5,000.00 and a certificate of appreciation from Animal Malaysia as well as some souvenirs from Animal Malaysia. The information of the complainant or witness remains confidential.
