PKPD TEMCO Kg. Sanglang, Kg. Tanah Timbul & 4 Sub-Districts In Kubang Pasu And Padang Terap End Tomorrow – Ismail Sabri

Targeted Enhanced Movement Control Order  (TEMCO) order imposed on several areas in the state of Perlis and Kedah will be terminated starting tomorrow.

“The special meeting of ministers on the implementation of PKP today agreed to end the PKPD targeted administratively in Kampung Sanglang and Kampung Tanah Timbul, Perlis and also four mukims in Kubang Pasu and Padang Terap, Kedah starting tomorrow, August 26, 2020,” he said.

Senior Minister (Security Cluster), Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob in a press conference held stated that the decision was made after all the residents in the area were screened and no new positive cases were reported.

“We took this decision after taking into account that there are no new positive cases and all residents in the affected areas have been screened by Covid-19 by MOH staff.

MOH has screened a total of 1,397 residents in Sanglang village and Tanah Timbul village as well as more than 7,000 residents in Kubang Pasu and Padang Terap, ”he said.
