Powerpuff Girls Reunite, Another Superheroes Coming Into Live Action

The ever favorite cartoon character, the Powerpuff Girls, has been some people’s childhood memories. Powerpuff Girls is an American superhero animated series that was first released in the year 1998.  The animation was created by animator Craig McCracken.

In that series, Professor Utonium accidentally created Blossom, Bubble, and Buttercup after combining sugar, spice, and everything nice with the mysterious chemical X. The three superpowered sisters act to save their place Townsville from the villains.

It is reported that Powerpuff Girls will be back in action at the nearest time. Incredibly, their comeback this time will be in the form of live-action.

The Cartoon Network series is in the development at The CW, an American television network.

Many other animation series and comics have been turned into live-action in the CW. Some of their famous characters that have been changed into live-action are the Flash, Supergirl, and the Archie comic series.

The new live-action series will be directed by Greg Berlanti, a producer who is famous for his previous works. Writers Heather Regnier is collaborating with Diablo Cody in adapting the animation series into live-action.

In this new live-action Powerpuff series, it will follow the three sisters’ life in their twenties. They regretted spending their childhood to fight the villains. However, they need to reunite as the world needs them more than ever.
