Wild animals have been living in their nature since the world ever existed. It is important for them to be living in their natural habitat as it will maintain the ecosystem. Wild animals aren’t tame and they can live on their own without any helps from people.
We have heard of some stories where people are taking wild and exotic animals as their pets. Some people said wild animals can be tamed after practicing domestication to the animals. But, can wild animals be as tamed as other domestic pets?
It is reported that a conservationist, West Mathewson was killed by his two lions. He had reared the lions since they were cubs. The lions have been rescued by Mathewson from canned hunting.
Mathewson was walking with the lions before one of the lions attacked and killed him without warning.
Her wife reported the incident that the lion attacked Mathewson as she was driving behind her husband. She tried to save her husband when he was attacked, but unfortunately, she was not able to do so.
The incident happened in South Africa’s northern Limpopo province, in the premise of the family-owned Lion Tree Top Lodge.
The two lions were reported to escape the lodge in 2017 and had killed a man working at the neighboring property. Mathewson said he can walk with the lions three to four hours a day when the lions are not aggressive.
