WhatsApp Might Allow Us Mute Annoying Groups Forever Soon

For those who wanted to leave a group on WhatsApp cause they feel annoyed with the group but can’t for some reason, soon you will be able to do so.

Some of us only get to ignore the messages that are coming from the groups and only be able to mute the group maximum for one year, but WhatsApp has an update where it will change everything.

A feature has been noticed that currently being tested by the Facebook-owner messenger by the WABetainfo. A feature for people that use “one-year” for mute now does not have to repeatedly turn it on every year.

This new WhatsApp feature is not available for now but soon expected to be replacing the “one-year” option.

While the “Always Muted” button is on its way, there is a rumor that “expiring messages” which automatically disappear or delete after a certain amount of time might be a thing in the future for WhatsApp.
