Since its first outbreak at the end of 2019, the coronavirus pandemic has been spread all over the world. About 27.2 million people were infected with the virus.
People have to adapt to a new way of life. One thing that all of us have to adapt is the new way of socializing that is by using the online medium. Even now, many universities are conducting classes online to avoid the virus from being spread. It is a good preventive step for everyone. But, what happened during an online class in Argentina might be traumatic to the students.
It is reported that a college professor who was suffering from coronavirus died at her home during a virtual class. The 46-year-old professor, Paola De Simone complained that she had a problem breathing during the Zoom session.
The professor was reported for having trouble breathing before the students asked her to give her home address so they could seek for help. However, Paola seemed to be gasping “I can’t” before she collapsed.
The students said Paola told them that she had pneumonia. During the last class with her, she looked worst than the previous class before she became unbalanced and collapsed. Her lifeless body was discovered by her husband who is a doctor and working during the pandemic.
Argentina has recorded more than 450,000 COVID-19 cases and over 9,000 people died because of the disease. Argentina ranked as countries which recorded a very high number of recorded cases.
