After 23 Years, End Of One Piece Revealed In Five More Years?

Anime lovers should be really familiar with the legendary One Piece series. The series has been around since 1997 and still ongoing until today. Up until now, the author, Eiichiro Oda has released 96 volumes in total.

The anime series first appeared in July 1997 in Weekly Shonen Jump. Since then, it’s becoming a hit to every anime enthusiasts. The story depicts the journey of Monkey D. Luffy and his pirate crew to find the greatest treasure ever left by a legendary pirate.

As the anime becomes a hit, the author has no problem in continuing the series. But how much longer will Oda continue the story after the character has been on the voyage for 23 years?

One Piece has become a masterpiece for Oda. It has reached a level of success where he can do anything with the anime creatively. Whenever he has the idea, no one can stop him from extending the anime.

According to an interview on the Fuji TV variety program, Arashi Tsubo, the author answered that the series will come to an end. The anime that has been running for 23 years will end at least four or five years from now.

Oda has planned out the story and promised the fans that the ending will be amazing.

During the interview too, the audience was brought to look at the original manuscript of the anime. Oda said that he hasn’t looked at the manuscript for 23 years.
