‘Black Widow’ Movie Will Be Delayed Until Next Year – Disney

This Covid-19 Pandemic situation has affected many industries all around the world including the filming industry. Because of this, Marvel fans worldwide have to wait a little bit longer before they are able to watch their highly anticipated movie that is ‘Black Widow’ on the big screen as Disney has announced that the movie will be delayed.

On Wednesday, the Disney company has recently released a statement saying that the movie that everyone has been waiting for that is the ‘Black Widow’ movie starring highly favorite female superhero that is Scarlett Johansson would be pushed back to the 7th May 2021. While for the film, it was set to hit the theaters on the 6th of November. Previously, the ‘Black Widow’ movie has been rescheduled in March due to the coronavirus. The particular movie was originally meant to be released at the start of the summer movie season on the 1st of May.

This rescheduling of the movie not just affected the ‘Black Widow’ movie, but it also affects the other films in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. For example, the movie ‘Eternals’ and also ‘Shang Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings’ movie also had to be moved back later than the original scheduling for all the movies. ‘Eternals’ movie which was originally set to hit movie theaters on the 12th of February 2021, will now be shown starting on the 5th of November 2021 while “Shang Chi” movie is moving from the 7th of May 2021 to the 9th of July in the year 2021.

“Black Widow” movie being delayed again is such a tough pill to swallow for all movie theaters because the film is one of the most anticipated films of the year and especially when the movie comes from the Marvel franchise, which is one of the most reliable blockbuster brands in Hollywood. The theaters which would be reopened over the summer after being closed for months are in desperate need of hit movies or in fact really any new movies for that matter.
