Gold Futures Opens Untraded

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 22 —  The gold futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives opened untraded in early trade today on subdued demand in the local market.

At 9.30 am, spot month September 2020, October 2020, November 2020, and December 2020 stood at RM254, RM255, RM256.25, and RM262 per gram, respectively.

Volume was nil, while open interest stood at 21 contracts.

At 9.30 am, the price of physical gold declined RM2.83 to RM245.35 a gram from RM248.18 a gram at 5 pm yesterday.
